1) Hundred-fold Return
The Lord said, "This is a season for the hundred-fold return!"
As I processed this, I sensed Holy Spirit say, "Do your business now. Root out unwanted seeds. Prophecy over the good."
Genesis 26:12 says Isaac reaped,"A hundred-fold in that year for God blessed him."
He learned to do what God instructed instead of being an emotional sower.
A hundred-fold return means we reap a 100 times what we've sown whether in blessings or in consequences.
If there's unforgiveness, complaining, self-pity, striving, jealousy, gossip, control, grief, disobedience, offense; you know there's work to do. The last thing you want is a 100 fold harvest of these in your life.
We're believing for a 100 fold return for families that will open their homes to believers & unbelievers in every neighborhood as we opened ours for so many years.
We're believing for a 100 fold return of the prodigals.
We’re believing for a 100-fold increase of key apostolic/ prophetic/ harvesting intercessors who with a baptism of love, are fearless & relentless in establishing the movement of the kingdom.
We're calling forth a 100 fold return of the reserves, the hidden company, those who have been out in the wilderness, the desert, the caves, the holding patterns, waiting to be a part of the formation of a new highway of holiness, a reformation that sparks a transformation of the region.
How can this hundred-fold return happen?
I was suddenly startled awake with the Matthew 3:16 proclamation in my ears: "...and the heavens were opened..."
Then in prayer the Lord took me to Hosea 6:3b, "and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth."
The timing for the Rains of Hosea are distinct for all of us.
We can't foretell a "Suddenly" but we can work in anticipation & get ourselves & our storehouses ready for the 100 fold so Holy Spirit can steward the blessing through us!
2a) WE ARE the Fishes & the Loaves!
The harvest is already ripe. As we read in John 6 they are listening but their hearts have not turned.
As a desperate hunger is rising. What will we give them?
Jesus says, "What do you have?" Well, nothing but ourselves. That's all you need. YOU are the fishes & the loaves. You Feed the people. There will always be plenty left over. With this perspective, there is no burn-out.
2 yrs ago at dinner with some friends I heard Holy Spirit say, "The opposite of poverty is not wealth, it is generosity!"
How generous are we? Consider opening your dwelling in hospitality. Showcase the Mercy of God, the Love of the Father and the Kindness of Holy Spirit through a heart that's been redeemed & transformed.
It's not only what we say, but what we do that actually makes a difference.
She prophesied, "It is time to Downsize (not hoard but share what you are not using with other believers) & Right-size: get your home in order so we can be mobile & ready to go when Holy Spirit speaks for us to."
It's time to think in terms of community not individualism.
Mike & I love change. We love to eliminate and concentrate. We also love to simplify and clarify. We can all thrive when we isolate an issue and penetrate it with prayer until business has been done with the Word & what was impossible with man..becomes possible with God!
2b) The Harvest
John 4:35-38
In a meeting recently, I was moved to prophesy that God was sending us to reap in fields where we had not labored.
Seek God, identify the field you are drawn to, set your face toward it and begin taking steps - even if they are baby steps.
Joshua 1:11 says (in my own paraphrase)"you are crossing over to take possession of this land that God is giving you". Your land can be geographical, your field of expertise, or even a people group He's dropped in your heart. Whatever it is, remember, in this instance, you have not labored for it. It is a gift from heaven.
